Two meaningless observations from the day job:
1.) There is a very particular type of stress that is unique to unmarried, middle-aged women.
and (regarding a completely different person)
2.) You know what throws me off? When an otherwise intelligent person severely over explains something that is incredibly simple. It makes me start doubting my original assumption, and everything else for that matter.
Dave, [so and so] needs access to this particular server.
Sure. I’ll give her access and make her a “User” folder.
Right now she can’t get into the server.
…Okay…I’ll give her access and create a “User” folder for her.
This is because she needs a place where she can save her files.
– a . . . “User” folder?
We tried getting into the server yesterday and we weren’t able to. She needs to be able to save her files in her own folder like everyone else can.
Like…ummm
Do you know what I’m talking about?
