Fertilizing Eggy

Well, the show I directed, “Fertilizing Eggy (and Other Stories…)” just ended it’s run this weekend. I’d post in-show pictures, but they’re already on the web. What I
have here are a bunch of photos I took of cast and crew (and spouses) before and after our final performance. Finally got to try out this new 35mm Canon lens I just found for $80. This sucker was used but in damn near mint condition and it translates over to a 56mm focal length on my Canon 300D. I’m very happy with this glass.

Nice picture of Minnie, but it makes me realize that this lens has a tendency to flare (look at her earring.)

Naoya, one of our producers and assistant director. And also newlywed!

This is Jen, Naoya’s new wife. And I mean “new” as in “they just got married.” Not “new” as in “Naoya got rid of his old wife before he got this new one.”

Every Asian American theater production needs a white guy and this is ours. His name is Eric and he pretty much looks like this all the time.

This is Rick. And by the looks of it, we just walked in on him humping the table

Every superhero team needs a big guy, and ours is Tim. With him is Maoli, our set builder and all-around handywoman

This is Jill, one of our tech volunteers. She says she doesn’t like being photographed but methinks the lady doth protest too much.

Randy, the writer of the show is on the right. Danny, his brother is on the left.

The Cast and Producers.

It was a good show. I’m happy. I’m sad. I’m all things in between.
