don’t be a jerk

So I haven’t posted for over a month. But wait, I have a really good reason.
 
See, Halo2 came out on November 9th, and the only reason I wasn’t playing it non-stop was because of the Propergander show. But once the show ended on the 20th, I could play all I wanted. I think I took small breaks to eat and stuff, but I don’t remember.
 
Did I say that I had a really good reason? What I meant to say is that I’m a pathetic nerd.

Actually no! I’m not! I totally rule.
 

I’ve actually got a pretty good lineup to keep me busy through the end of the year. Just as long as it doesn’t get in the way of Halo2.

I saw a great play tonight, called “That May Well Be True” at the Hudson Theater. Not just great. Fantastic. Wasn’t comedy either. I haven’t seen a good drama in a long-ass time. Very good and surprisingly entertaining.
 
That’s one factor that I find missing in a lot of storytelling (whether prose, play, movie, whatever.) Some things are bad. Some things are good. But even when it’s “good” it’s not always entertaining.
 
Me personally, I like writing and acting and directing and such. But I love entertaining. And I especially love being entertained. Good play. Very happy I saw it.

I also so my old theater company’s new show earlier this week. It wasn’t great. In fact it was hard to watch. I wrote them lots of helpful comments that might hurt their feelings. Normally I’d be nicer, but it’s the 10th year of the group so I’d kinda like to see some slightly higher-quality stuff out of them this year.

I two big auditions to prepare for and a video project that I’m supposed to outline by this weekend. However, most of my time is being taken up by the A Burning Thing DVD, which is rendering as I write this at 3:10am. People better get a kick out of this tomorrow night at the cast/crew party.
