Post-Thanksgiving Anime Segue

So I haven’t updated this thing for quite awhile now, but that’s because 1.) like I said before, iWeb is cool, but it’s rather time consuming to create blog entries, (if the 2.0 update doesn’t take care of this, methinks I’m moving over to WordPress), and 2.) I’ve been in damn near constant pre-production for a short film that some of us (most noteably Spiffy) are producing in December.
Whatever time this weekend I didn’t spend cooking Thanksgiving turkey, or taunting my parrot with the Thanksgiving turkey, I spent working on the film. It’s almost 2am, Sunday night, and I feel like taking a break and wasting my time a little.
So I’m giving a rundown on my friends that remind me of anime characters.

Resembles: “Fuu” from Samurai Champloo
Both Kimhouy and Fuu are small, young, accident-prone, and have a kinship with small rodents (RIP Chess.) Personally Kim and Fuu don’t really act and look alike, but it was one of those things where every time I watched Samurai Champloo I just kept getting this vibe thingy that I don’t bother explaining to my friends. Mainly because I want to keep having friends. Anyway. Moving on…

Resembles: “Chad” from Bleach
Aside from looking damn near identical, especially when Tim lets his hair grow out, Chad and Tim are both large, have deep, rumbly voices, and can take large amounts of physical punishment. Tim and Chad both also have the lips of a black man. The main difference between the two is that Chad lives to protect those that are weaker than he is, and Tim lives to date your sister if she’s hot enough.

Resembles: “Orihime” from Bleach
Both have orange hair. Both are a bit spacey. And I am ashamed of my physical attraction to both - Jill, because of her unabashedly nihilistic tendencies, and Orihime because she’s a fucking cartoon character.

Resembles: “Totoro” from My Friend Totoro
Okay, so I’ve never actually watched My Friend Totoro, but c’mon, look at them. Especially around the eyes. I have a feeling that Mike’s going to destroy me via photoshop in his next blog entry.
Comparisons that I have left out and/or will post in the future:
Fah and “Eureka” from Eureka 7
- I couldn’t find a picture of Fah that did the comparison justice. But it’s there.
Ray Lai and “Guile” from Street Fighter
- Okay, so Guile isn’t actually an anime character, but I’m posting this shit once I get the right picture of Ray with a huge flattop.
Roxy Richardson and “Tatsuki Arisawa” from Bleach
- I would have posted this one but it’s past 2:30am and I’ve already done 2 from Bleach.
G’nite.
